Dr. Florian Shkurti is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Toronto, where he directs the Robot Vision and Learning (RVL) lab. He is a faculty member of the University of Toronto Robotics Institute, a Faculty Affiliate at Vector Institute, and a fellow of the NSERC Canadian Robotics Network (NCRN). His research is in autonomous mobile robotics, informed by machine learning, computer vision, and control.
