NCRN 3rd Annual General Meeting Recap

The 2021 NCRN AGM was held virtually this past May 18-20th. The packed 3 days included the following events and more: Principal Investigators presentations, Distal Fellow presentations, Partner presentations, Partner brainstorming & panel sessions, an Ogopogo pitch presentation, Birds of Feather sessions, Interactive Poster presentations, and a fun social event. Thank you to everyone who participated and attended events! We look forward to hearing your feedback in the survey coming to you next week. Gregory Dudek, NCRN Scientific Director, comments:

“Based on my own sentiment and the feedback I have received, the AGM was a big success (especially given that we’re working under pandemic conditions). There have been several different conferences for our community this Spring, and most of them suffered from very low engagement. While attendance is always non-uniform, the overall level of engagement for most of our events seems to have been as good or better than what many virtual meetings are seeing, even including big events. The partner presentations had good attendance numbers, and in most cases ran a bit overtime due to the richness of the interactions. I want to thank and congratulate all the participants.”
