UofT's Autonomous Driving Team places 1st in Virtual Competition

Congrats to the University of Toronto’s autonomous driving team (aUToronto) who placed 1st in the virtual driving challenge at the SAE AutoDrive Challenge (for the fourth straight year!) with their self-driving electric vehicle, a Chevrolet Bolt named “Zeus”, which has been retrofitted with a suite of sensors. The aUToronto team consists of 70+ members, most of whom are UofT Engineering undergraduate and graduate students. Its faculty supervisors include Professors Angela Schoellig and Steven Waslander (both NCRN PIs). The team will move on to compete in the SAE AutoDrive Challenge II, in fall 2021. Congrats to the entire team!
